Which Therapist is Best?

What is the difference between an osteopath and a Chiropractor
What is the difference between an Osteopath, Physio and a Chiropractor

This is a question which regularly comes up in our therapy clinic and one which we feel we should answer in the usual scientific, educated and well rounded manner to which you will have become accustomed too. So first of all are there any differences, well yes of course some really quite obvious ones which we will now discuss in our quick guide in what to look for.

You’ve got three very distinct appearances between Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, and Chiropractors. Each therapy has its own distinct heritage and deep rooted beliefs and from this a uniform which best suits this aura.

Therapist A:  Note the slightly demonic and harsh exterior that is because what they do is unequivocally the best way to treat patients and there can be no deviation form this. Conformity and organisation is key to this.

Therapist B: Here you will see the loving and caring nature shining through, don’t worry about science its always been done like this and as long as they’re happy and relaxed this will transfer to their patient and to top it all of this gives them a heightened sense of touch which no mere mortal possesses.

Therapist C; The tracksuit and resistance band tells you all you need to know. You’re going to get better with the only true medicine. Exercise. And its true….. using a band to practice the action of opening a door and lying on your back dropping your knee to the side is all you need.

Talk the Talk.

Therapist A: The shear volume of reps, sets, timings, percentages, degrees, and volume of numbers means it has to be good. Maths is a true constant so it means they must be right!!

Therapist B: These guys know what is really going on, I mean they can pick up problems anywhere in your body just by holding your feet. They are tune with you and they are going to heal you.

Therapist C: They don’t have time to talk because they have so many people waiting!!

Therapist A: Blink and you’ve missed it but don’t forget to pay and book your block of 10 sessions that you will definitely need!!

Therapist B: That sheet of exercises that has been printed off and put in a tray 10 yearrs ago was perfect planning cause you like the dozen other patients in front of you have exactly the same treatment plan. What are the chances.

Therapist C: The attention to detail treating and linking every joint and muscle in your body for that sore finger is astounding, and only they would know that it was all because of a stiff little toe.

What Now?

Well as always we have given you the insight and information that will steer you down a difficult road. Now all you have to do is avoid everything we have said (except doing exercise) as usual and you will be closer to being with the right therapist.
